2019 Volunteer Fire Class 19-2 Flashover Training
Firefighter Recruits were subjected to intense heat today from Flashover and then Fire Behavior Training. Loudoun County Fire Academy is fortunate to have a Flashover simulator. Firefighter recruits are taught to recognize the preconditions and signs of a flashover using the simulator. They learn to recognize the fire, smoke patterns & colors, and survival tactics.
